Wines come in different types and most of them are made of grapes. However there are a few types which are made of other materials such as honey. The production process starts with the harvest of grapes. When the harvest is done, the grapes are put into a winery and primary ferment is done. When it is done, the two processes red wine making and white wine making are diverges. When the primary fermentation is started, it is mixed with yeast and in the process which takes one to two weeks yeast plays a major role as it converts the sugar included in the grapes into carbon dioxide and alcohol which is also known as ethanol.

The next step is a bacterial process in which malic acid is converted into lactic acid which results in softening taste of the drink. The drink is put in to barrels made of oak and let it mature for weeks or sometimes for months. When all the processes are properly done, the time comes for the packing process. Before bottling the drink, it is well tested, clarified and settled. The final outcome is nicely and neatly packed and sent to the market.
